This was such a great time! I was really hoping “Book” from HOCUS POCUS would wake up and look at me!

If there is one thing I believe in, it’s magic. So when the proverbial stars in my life need some aligning, I defer to none other than Walt Disney.

At 25, I still get lost in the magic Disney created in cartoon form. Nothing brightens my spirits more than watching Cinderella find her happily-ever-after; few things reduce me to tears like the Baby Mine scene in Dumbo (how do we still allow animal-centric circuses to happen!?). I could literally watch the first four minutes of The Lion King on loop every day for the rest of my life.

So when Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives opened at The Museum of Science and Industry last fall, I couldn’t have been more excited. I hit the exhibit with a couple of gal pals, and we had a blast immersing ourselves in Disney’s incredible collection of sketches, costumes, props…
